LOOK AND FEEL

The overall futuristic look of the headphone is mind-blowing. Its stainless steel headband gets tapered down to tangentially passes through the ear-cups. The headphone is very comfortable and light enough to wear for long hours. It does not have hinges but that is a non-issue, the earcups can be rotated around headband for the purpose of its storage. They come-up with a touch pad that allows you to manipulate media by changing volumes, skipping files or pause/play the streaming as well as tell you the amount of battery left in hours. The touch is smooth as feather.

COOLEST FEATURES

The headphone is loaded with tonnes of cool features. The first one is, of course, the noise cancelation after which the product has been named, not a catchy name though. The headphone is fitted with eight microphones, four on each earcup for active noise cancelling. A dedicated button allows you to cycle through your preferred noise cancellation levels out of three levels and there are a total of 10 levels in the Bose Music app to choose your favourite three from. 

Further, press and hold the same button to enter into Conversation Mode so that you can engage in chats in the middle of streaming. The audio gets paused until you tap the touch panel of or press the same button again.

It also has a Sidetone feature, which allows you to listen to your own voice so that you don’t talk loud while wearing the headphone.

The noise cancelling is really great in transferring your voice on network thus resulting in clear voice calling and voice commands to the assistant on board.
  
You can choose your favourite assistance among Google Assistant, Alexa or SIRI with the help of Bose Music app. A dedicated button has been provided to activate the selected assistant. However, if you choose Alexa, you would be able to summon it by just uttering its name. Alexa remains always active without having any noticeable effect on battery life.

SOUND QUALITY

There is no doubt that the sound quality is better than Bose QC 35 II. The sound is crisp and clear and, even at high volumes the distinction between instruments are maintained and heavy-bass is dealt well. However, the high-ranged trebles can be harsh at times.

DOWNSIDES

The battery life is not as good as of competitors and lasts only up to 20 hours. However, a quick-charge feature allows you to get 3.5 hours of battery life from a 15-minute charge. Not satisfactory to many.

Initially there were complains of connectivity of headphones with the app while they were easily connecting to the phone directly. This problem, however, was later solved. The app still needs some improvement but overall works fine.
